Thank you 44shooter, for the info.

I am sure I will be checking it out, maybe after the Monroe gunshow someday. In an ideal world, that would be the day I buy one and shoot it the same day. Hasn't happened yet but would be fun.

OBTW, what is your favorite caliber? :D

Is that anywhere near the old Arlington range that shut down a few years ago?

I was surprised that it couldn't stay in business, since there are no other public indoor ranges in the area. It was a nice place; big, clean, and had good rentals.

Answer found.

It IS the Arlington range that closed a few years ago. So sayeth my buddy who lives not far from there. And we are most certainly making plans to shoot there soon.

Who knows nothing about how it is being run, the choice of rentals, the range fees and membership pricesetc.

Another range is a good thing , now for the off topic part , haven't you noticed when you see some topic about western WA its always about Seattle ? What about the rest of us ?? :p

Ah, Mortech, that is exactly what everybody on the east side of the Cascades is saying! 'What about us?" concerning decisions from the state capital. It is just a function of population density.

Now, maybe your area needs a good indoor and outdoor range. Start one! Off to the west of town, the old gravel pit has been settled by a car dealer, I think, but there must be more land there.

Or maybe an old Simpson Timber Co. building is being shut down. Indoor range will fit nicely?

Hey, talk to one of the tribes. I'll bet the rules and reg's on the reservations will allow new range construction with a lot less hassle and cost. And there are enough hills to find a spot with a good backstop.
