Just picked it up today for $355 out the door. It has the Heine sights and a DA/SA trigger. The double action pull is so light it almost feels SA to me....it's probably just because I'm used to a heavier trigger.

The sa pull has quite a bit of take-up, but I really like the thing. We'll see how she does at the range in a few days.

After I got my PT145 last year, it didn't take me long at all to get almost as tight a grouping as I got with my Ruger P90 shooting single action. The PT145 has just about the sweetest DAO trigger I've experienced.

It's a good pistol. I bought one about 4 months ago, and now it is my carry pistol.
Light, accurate, dependable.;)

I got mine about a week or so ago. It is SA and has the Heinie sights and the light rail. About 425 rounds of various kinds of ammo through it and not a single problem. It really took alot to get me to try the gun. I had one of the original ones that cracked on three separate occasions.
This one appears to be a whole different animal. Accurate, reliable, compact, and powerful. What more could you want? And at $353.00 total out the door it's a hell of alot of gun for the money. Between this one and my PT-92 I have two winner taurus autos. Wish they had all been this good..

Range day PT-145

Took it to the range today. Shot some Remington, CCI aluminum and standard GI ball...all 230 gr. It shot flawlessly. I haven't shot a .45 in a while so it was different. The first round was an inch from the red the next four were right on top of each other at 15 yards. After that I started anticipating the recoil and my shots dropped a bit but still better than my P95 was......and I loved my P95 (just not as accurate as I wanted it to be for a 9mm).

Also had a chance to get the CZ75b back to shooting.....I LOVE THIS DARN GUN! It had 7 FTE's the first range day (200 rounds) and 1 today (100 rounds). It's just breaking it's teeth and I was shooting mostly aluminum CCI stuff. It didn't have a problem with the brass FMJ or JHP's. Damn it's accurate...I almost feel like I'm holding the muzzle up against the bullseye at 15 yards....... it's just too easy.

I have one of the PT145 MilPros also. DOA model. I love that gun. 350 rounds of CCI Blazer and only one failure to fire. Extra hard primer IMO.
