New to gunsmithing

Well i'd like to become a somewhat good gunsmith and i'm wondering where i should start. Is there a good book out there that shows you the most common practices of gunsmithing? What is a good gunsmithing set i can buy. My first "job" will be rebuilding a ruger 10/22. From what i hear over at rimfire central it's very fun and addicting. I'm sure you will be seeing a lot more posts in this section from me from now on....mostly because i'll have no clue what i'm doing

I'm sure some fine folks wouldn't mine helping me out though

Short of going to school for gunsmithing taking a few night classes in machine shop aint gonna hurt anything.
