Best valentines gift ever! Well i haven't actually got it yet it'll hopefully show up next week. My wife wanted to surprise me with a Marlin 1894C in .357...she's heard me mention it to friends on various occasions. Unfortunately she couldn't find one in the local gunshops and they all said their distributers didn't have them either.
Since she knows I would be better at tracking down a gun then she would she came up to me the other day and said she wanted to get one for me but couldn't find one so she wanted me to find one and it'd be my gift.
After coming up empty in every gunshop within driving distance I cast the net farther and located one in a gunshop in kentucky
Been wanting a leveraction for a long time and i've got a couple revolvers in .357/.38 so i wanted some caiber commonality (i found a couple .44mag 1894's locally).....it should go nicely with my AR15...two carbines from different eras.
