I just picked up a Winchester 94 ranger in 30-30 for 230.00 from a pawn shop. I don't this gun has been shot more than twice, but rather just sat in the closet for years collecting dust. It was made sometime around 82.

Anyway, how can I get an owners manual? I tried the winchester site, but they don't have one. Little help?

Thanks

See post by Savageshooter, dtd 28 Feb, 07. The title of his post is 'Free Manuals'.

You'll have to print the information.

salty.

My model was before the tang or cross bolt safety. I'm surprised Winchester doesn't provide this info. I know that if I call Ruger I can get a manual from way back when.

I'll check savageshooter.

Thanks

Thanks for the info but the manual on that website is for the newer crossbolt safety gun and I'd like to find a copy of the older manual. Any ideas?

Thanks

Tag. I happen to get a 94 without tang or bolt safeties. Interested to know too.

How about the directions at www.castbullet.com/misc/tdown.htm

"The Model 94 shown here is circa 1976 with SN 4,537,XXX."

Or...

"Winchester 94 1960’s factory instruction manual reproduction. Made with quality scans of an original. Eight page stapled design with several pictures and specifications, safety, loading, operation and care and cleaning for this fine rifle. A nice addition to your 94 and good information. See many more reproduction firearm manuals and hang tags in my Ebay store! No reserve. Have fun. Contact me with questions at [email protected]"

$9 including shipping. I've purchased manuals from him. John

John - You're Godsend. Thanks for the link.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack but I'm really more interested in the disassembly rather than the manual. I thought the manual would have the disassembly but the link really did helped. I got an old 30-30 which was bone dry and needs cleaning and lubing inside out.

Side by side with my Marlin 1894CH 357.
