So this morning an article was posted in the New York Post about a shooting involving an AK47. The story says that the casings found were from an AK47 and a .45 cal pistol.

It is very rare that I post in forums or make any waves however, I am at a point of complete frustration with the ignorance of the anti-gunners. I first off want to say that I am very sorry for the family that lost their son in this recent shooting and my thoughts go out to them. It is a shame that this writer used this story to push more fear into people about AW's by stating that an ak was used not that 7.62x39 casings were found. I have read other articles about the shooting, and yes, witnesses did say that they saw an AK47. All of the other stories mentioned this information, where as this article only states that the casings were from an AK47. I have contacted the author of the article about this and I am posting here hoping that others will do the same. I will also be contacting the New York Post about the article. PLease see link below.

I hope I have not broken any forum rules by posting this. I also ask that if anyone is to contact this person, lets please not resopnd with the same ignorance that she used in her article. In these times we must show that we are not backwoods hillbillys that want keep our guns, but rather show that we are law abiding educated citizens.

Thank you for reading.

AK's come in many calibers, as so do AR types.

This is what bugs me most; The first 2 days they reported the "Assault Rifle' was found outside , in the car, and that he used the 2 pistols to shoot with........so What The **** is really going on??

I took this from

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/12/14/shooting-reported-at-connecticut-elementary-school/

The most interesting is this;

"[Updated at 6:51 p.m. ET] A law enforcement official familiar with the investigation says the three guns found at the shooting site were legally purchased by Nancy Lanza, the mother of the suspect in the shooting.

According to the law enforcement official, the Glock and Sig Sauer handguns were found inside the school with the deceased gunman. The Bushmaster was found in a car outside the school. The official did not know if the car was registered to the gunman, to his mother or to someone else.

The official echoed what other law enforcement officials have told CNN: That Adam Lanza was the suspected gunman, and that he died at the scene of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot."

Things that make ya go "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......."

This planting of 'Assault weapons" reminds me of the "AK-47 full auto" the KGBATFBI "found' outside the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Waco Tx, when they attacked those 83 people trying to arrest one, David Koresh, and became their "Reason' for what they did to those people in that Church, on a windy day, with no water and flame dispersing teargas canisters. They were a "Defense Group" and had various guns (the church owned a gunstore name "The Mag Bag") and everyone in the church owned guns that used the same ammo, .223 and 9mm in common, so finding a 7.62X39 in a car , in the parking lot seems like the Agent provocator's are really at it again. Of course, form your own opinion, but its strikingly familiar..........Reichstag time, the "emergency" the consolidated Hitlers power and made him go from an elected Chancelor to a Dictator. I dont think Obamas gonna get to be dictator, though.....

Its not a Take over, its a "Weapons ban" and it's just the beginning.

I noticed their swap on the story too. Seemed once the feds showed up the story started changing...ALLOT. I am not a tin foil hat type, but some things make you think twice.

What's upsetting about the report of a gang on gang murder in the article? It says 2 masked gunmen showed up and shot into a group at 12:30 in the morning. It says casings for an AK, presumed to be either 7.62x39 or 5.45x39, and .45 were found at the scene. It does push the AK side of the story in an obvious attempt to sensationalize the use of an AK type carbine, but that's not surprising in the Post.

A Queens teen was gunned down early yesterday by masked shooters in Far Rockaway — and cops found AK-47 shell casings at the scene, police sources said.

Xavier Granville, 17, was hanging out with friends on Beach 15th Street near Heyson Road after leaving a party when two men in ski masks arrived and fired into the group at around 12:30 a.m., the sources said.

Granville was hit in the head, authorities said. He died shortly after.

Cops found AK-47 and .45-caliber pistol casings at the scene — but it wasn’t clear last night which gun killed Granville, or what sparked the bloodshed.

Granville may have been a member of a gang, the sources said.

The shooting came nearly six months after three men were gunned down in Queens in a hail of gunfire from an AK-47.

That fight began at a Brooklyn nightclub called Albany Manor in Wingate.

The victims drove to Springfield Gardens, Queens, to drop off one pal at his girlfriend’s house.

As the victims were double parked outside, someone in a car that had followed them opened fire, killing three intended victims and wounding a fourth, authorities said.

Investigators found at least 63 rounds at the scene.

Where can I buy some AK47 headstamped ammunition? Does anyone know? :scrutiny:

Some steelcase 7.62x39 I happen to have on stripper clips for an SKS nearby are stamped 3 over 94.

*sigh*
