Nice 8 Pt. Yesterday

The planets aligned perfectly yesterday and I was able to collect a fairly decent 8 pointer. Using my new to me Marlin 336 in .35 Rem, Hornady Leverevolution ammo, and The Buck stopped here! I'm very pleased with the Leupold FX-2.5x scope. I get a great deal of satisfaction out of using these older chamberings. This is this rifles first blood under my ownership. It has definitely found a home.

A nice one, congrats! I've got one running around getting on camera similar to that one I'll take if I get the chance. Thought I was going to get to hunt in the morning, but work says I gotta be there. Don't know what possessed me to take that friggin' part time job. It sure keeps getting in my way. Enjoy the backstrap!
