No one loves me cause I'm wrinkled...

Its shiny so you could still turn your pot up. Once you see the shine turning to frost back off a little.
I'll snap another picture in a little while, the nose in a few was just starting to frost (I think) and the ridge of the grease grooves had what I interpreted as some frosting. I could be misunderstanding what I see though. One of the things I learned that seemed to really help was the amount if time it takes for the sprue to solidify. Last attempt it would basically solidify instantly. With the heat increase it was about 5-6 seconds.

There's quite a learning curve but it's getting better. I ended up with about 100 that I'm going to try, I need 5# for the correct ratio with the hi-tek coating I plan to apply. This weekend I'm going to take another stab at the 500 grain mold. Looks like molds are coming back and I'm eyeing a 255 grain .452 mold that's available on Amazon but it's not exactly the one I want. I'm hesitant to wait but I don't want to take one someone else might specifically want and I kind of don't really want as much as some others that remain either too expensive or unavailable.

I'll keep updating this thread with my progress.

You folks are the best, thanks for all the help so far !

3-5 seconds for a sprue to go solid seems perfect from what I'm seeing. Sounds like your dialed in.
