Having moved from a no sales tax state when it became law, I didn't realize the Brady Bill eliminated sales tax on gun safes. Found a great deal on a really nice one the other day I, it's now mine. Thanks Sara, I'll put the savings toward more hi-cap mags. :D

Given that sales tax is a state/local thing, I wasn't aware the feds could outlaw it.

Although I know WA doesn't charge sales tax on safes.

I do believe you mean STANDARD CAPACITY magazines. Hi-cap mags aren't, they're only higher capacity than the ghey Clinton mags.

I sincerely doubt that

the "Brady Bill" has ANYTHING to do with safes. In my state, the exemption is a function of STATE law - as I suspect it is everywhere else.:scrutiny:

648E, I was picturing those 20-30 round pistol magazines that stick a foot below the gun :D

But yeah, crippled capacity - anything below what the gun was designed for. Standard-as designed. High cap - sticks out the butt of handguns, is a drum mag, etc...
