Hello all,

I've been looking at a Norinco SKS, 90-95% condition, very clean gun. The Chinese stock has been replaced by a synthetic ram-line type, has spike bayonet and od sling.

What would be the price range for this rifle today?

thanks a bunch.

I'd say $200 plus. However, you're the one who has seen it for sale- the bigger question is what do they want for it?

I know a lot of people who would see an SKS in a syn stock as being worth less.

When you are asking around, keep in mind- gun prices vary from state to state. I still run into guys on other forums who brag you can "get a pristine unfired Russian SKS for $150" at "any pawn shop." Not sure what area or year they are living in.

I just bought a Norinco with Dragunov stock, bipod, 20 rnd. fixed mag, and 800 rounds of ammo for $250. Best "bang for the buck" (IMO) that I've got in awhile.

There seems to be a flood of SKSs on the market right now, and a ton of them are Norincos. I wouldn't pay any more than $200 for one at this point in excellent condition. I'd pay more if it was factory built to take AK magazines, up to $350.
