When did Norma quit making pistol brass? I cant find any on Norma's website.

I have some new unprimed .44 Mag that are Norma headstamp. They have never been loaded. Not sure on the vintage. the quantity is an even 100.

Is it any better than other brands? I also have some FC, Speer & mainly W-W Super headstamp that are at least once fired. I think they might be once fired due to the overall condition and headstamps are very clear. No apparent wear & tear on the cases. These case have not been tumbled but are fairly clean.

Thanks,

I have new Norma 10mm and .44 Magnum brass that I've been hoarding, since it's pretty good quality brass. I don't know that they've stopped making it, but they may have stopped importing it into the U.S.

Hope this helps.

I checked Midway's site and they show no Norma pistol brass available. Like ReloaderFred said, probably stopped importing for some reason. I wouldn't think that they would stop manufacturing.
It is very good brass.

I have a 100 case lot I got in 1991 while living in Germany, using 50 of it in a 150 case rotation, and like other good brass it has worked pretty well. Primer pockets are still good, and it loads nice. Part of this rotation includes IMI brass which is good but "short", and Rem which is by far the least durable, and not as enjoyable to load.

This lot has been used at about 20% full bore, and 80% 1/2 to 2/3's power, so it has not been exclusively used at full power, or extra hard crimps that kill case mouths, and all is sized with an undersized die. Considering all factors, I'd like to get my hands on more.

Thanks for the info.
I'll probably sell this lot of brass. If any of you gents want it PM me an offer.

Norma 44 MAG brass

I got a new, full box of of 50 in a trade and it seems very well made. Let me know if you don't get any offers. Thanks.
