Loadbook shows 20.8 minimum to 21.8 grains maximum for this bullet/powder combination. Granted, this is the only reference I have with this exact pairing, but elsewhere in the same book, online, and in my Lyman manual, I am seeing loads as high as 24.0 grains and as low as 19.5 grains of 2400 under jacketed hollow points of identical weight, sectional density and very similar BC.

I'm just wondering if there's a reason why Loadbook shows such a tight range for the Nosler bullets compared to every other load I've found? Until that manual showed up in the mail the other day, I was planning on covering the full range from 19.5 to 23.8 grains of 2400 as the other manuals suggest with virtually identical bullets, but being new to reloading now I'm not so sure. Should I stick with the Loadbook recipe or can I widen the range a bit based on all the other load data?

Anyway, I will be loading it for a 6.5" Taurus M44 and this will be primarily a lighter shooting target load. I am also working up a 240 grain Nosler 240 grain deer load, but the manuals seemed to agree so they are already loaded and ready for the range.
