Nosler Manual

I do not have the Lyman manual (but it's probably next on my list of manuals to buy.) I have the Hornady and Speer and I recently purchased the Nosler. I haven't used it a lot since I got it, but when I'm comparing between the three (Nosler, Speer and Hornady) Nosler is my favorite.
IIRC, Speer lists powders in descending order of what gives the best velocity. I haven't figured out how Hornady lists their loads (and yet I keep looking!) But the thing I really like about the Nosler is that they list the most accurate powder for a bullet weight and they list the most accurate load with each of the powders tested. Granted, I'm not shooting the same gun they tested with, but it's a nice spot to start looking for better accuracy. They also list whether a magnum primer was used with a particular powder.
I don't know what kind of info you're looking for in particular, but I have one and I like it!

Bought it a couple of days ago. I love it.
I've been working for months to finds a 7 Rem Mag load I liked with the velocity I wanted. The Nosler manual had it. Most of the other manuals I had really neutered the 7 Mag, but the Nosler loads it to full potential.

The Nosler Manual is one of the three that I keep on my bench. I use quite a bit of Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets in my various rifles and I like their listing of the most accurate loads. For the record my other two are the current Lyman and Speer Manuals, and also reference www.Hodgdon.com when I research new loads.

I have all the manuals you have and was deciding on weather to get the Nosler or the Sierra Manual. I ended up going with the Sierra mainly because I buy alot of their bullets plus I really didn't care much for the Nosler because it seemed to lack a lot of choices for each caliber.

You can't own too many reloading manuals, Noslers data on load density is worth the 30 bucks.

I have it and use it. The loads that they list for being the most accurate for the 25-06 in 85 and 100 gn worked really well in my a bolt. some I reduced by .5 gns as the max was showing signs of pressure. I have loaded some of for a 204 that I am having built but the the gun has not shown up so I could try them.

I find the Nosler manual to be more realistic for velocity and I use their bullets, but their powder selections are a bit baffling. They tend to include marginally suitable powers and ignore ones right in the sweet spot of the burn rate.
I like the Speer manual because they tend to recommend the powders I use most, but I find their velocities to be low.
I like Hornady bullets and I like their manuals so I have their manual as well.
I'd recommend buying the manual(s) from the bullet maker you like most, then look into getting a Loadbook, it will have data from everyone (but a bit out of date).
Hodgdon's website is a mainstay for me now they handle almost all the powders I use.

Yes it does have some handgun loads. It's not my favorite for handgun, rather limited in my mind. I like the Sierra manual over the Nosler, I do have most though.

Now that you have the Nosler coming, get the Sierra also. These two are my favorites.
I don't remember off hand which Nosler manuals we have, but my dad and I each have a copy, his a newer manual than mine. I noticed recently, while I was at his house talking about reloading, that at least some of the so-called "maximum" loads for various cartridges have been seriously downgraded.
For example, my Nosler manual shows 11.5 gr. of 2400 as a max load for the .357 Magnum cartridge, firing a 180 gr. Partition or Silhouette bullet. My dad's (newer) manual now lists only 10.0 (or was it 10.5, I can't remember) gr. of the same powder as the Max load.
I have been loading the full 11.5 gr. for quite some time now and I'm not showing any signs of undue pressure in my gun and I need that extra powder to keep my loads legal for big game hunting so; I don't think I'll be downgrading my loads to match Nosler's new-found timidity.
