Novice Question on ABC's Manual

I see this book recommended multiple times and noted that it is currently out of print. Just to be sure I'm looking at the right book if I find one what is the current edition and author. Barnes and Noble seem to show several different editions and authors under the same name search.

5th Edition by D. Grennell

6th Edition by C.R. James

8th Edition by B. Chevalier
(to be released June 28)

Are all these just revisions to the same manual and I should find the most current available? What happened to 7th Edition?

I have the 7th edition. Just purchased (from Midway I think) 1 1/2 years ago. Copyright 2004. They move fast don't they.

You can probably get it at a good sized library. It is, however, worth owning. I've reread it a few times as my interests change.

not too sure of the 7th. however the basic information is the same. Reloading has not really changed. Other than more load data. but then you can get that on line. you still would be good getting the 6th edition. Or even older for that matter. here is a link to look at.

The ABC's of Reloading is more of a how-to book than a proper manual. You'll need a proper loading manual too. I'd suggest the latest Lyman book. It's extremely versatile. Go to your local gun shop or Amazon for either.
