The facility is arranged..Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, Nebraska.
The dates are all firmed up: Saturday, October 31, starting at 9:00am; it will be a long day. We will do the Basic Instructor Training module (6+hours) and get started on the Pistol module. On Sunday, November 1, we will again start at 9:00am and conclude the pistol module ...hopefully by 4:00pm-5:00pm time frame.
As an Instructor, you can experience the personal satisfaction of teaching others the basics -- the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will lead to a lifetime of safe, enjoyable and successful involvement in firearm and shooting activities. Instructors provide an invaluable service in their communities by training hundreds of thousands of individuals annually. As firearm and shooting activities expand, and more Americans choose to exercise their right to carry a firearm, so too grows the need for these courses (and the Instructors to teach them as many States require NRA certifiation as a starting point for their CCW instructor certification.)
Also...and this is very nice... NRA instructors get very nice direct-from-the-factory discounts from many firms; some include Ruger, Kahr, Crimson Trace, Tru-Glo, Aim Point and others.
Because I need to order the training materials about 2+ weeks in advance, registration is ending on October 12th.... I will order a few exrta sets "just in case"....but if you wanted to attend....NOW is the time to committ to registration. NO $$ is paid up front....class fees are due when we meet on the 31st of October. You can register by a simple e-mail to me at [email protected]
