I'm sure some of you have seen this but I discovered it last night for the first time. If you haven't seen it check this website out. There are more high quality pictures of firearms from around the world that I have ever seen. Some really really cool and unique firearms. This is gonna keep me busy for a while.

Anyone ever been to the Meseum? This summer I am gonna try to take a trip down there.

I travel to DC a lot for business and have been many times...its a wonderful place and i reccomend going if possible.

I live near the NRA HQ and have shot in their range several times but have yet to go to the museum. I also work 10 minutes away, perhaps I'll take a long lunch on a slow day and check it out.

I used to go to the NRA HQ range a lot, very nice range, well (read strict) run. One day I decided to take my son through it. It is very, very cool. If anyone is in the area and has the time, definately recommend doing it. Seeing the sheer volume of firearms, plus their periods in time, really puts into perspective how ingrained firearms are, and have been, in the development of the US, our history, heritage, etc. Awesome
