NRA Pistol Instructor class in Sun City West, AZ, May 21-22

I will be presenting the NRA Pistol Instructor certification class in Sun City West, AZ, May 21-22, 2016. This is a two day class that (when successfully completed) earns the participant the certification as an NRA Pistol Instructor.

Space is limited, .... please also note that there is a new requirement imposed by the NRA to become an instructor that will increase the total cost by $60 (this is an NRA fee, not an instructor fee...every class now has this new fee.)

Just curious... Are there pre-requisites to take this class.

There are no formal objective pre-requisites to starting the process. Participants are expected to be able to pass a basic marksmanship qualifier and to have a reasonable foundation in the safe use of both revolvers and semi-autos. The new NRA requirement is that all new instructors must do the Phase I of Basic Pistol class on-line, prior to attending the instructor class. That adds $60 to the total fees, as that is paid directly to the NRA, and you still have the individual instructor's class fee as well.
