I have a Parker Hale Hussar. It is a 30-06 cal bolt action rifle. It caught my eye at a rural gun shop, so now I have it. I know very little about guns. Can anyone educate me about this rifle. I read about the P-H Co's history. thanks

I have a converted Enfield Nbr 4 Mk 2 .303 British by them that I bought in 1964 and still taking deer and bear and moose...I also have a few of their blackpowder Enfield, volunteer and Whitworth replica guns...Excellent company, workmanship, customer service but didn't have lots of dealers so getting their stuff was difficult.

Expect 1.5" to 2" groups.

Your Parker Hale Hussar should be built on a Czech BRNO VG-47 commercial 98 Mauser action.

They were imported in the 1950' & 60's.

It should be a very well built rifle, who's value today is less then it should be for the quality received.
