The point is ????

"Interesting. That's Rupert Murdoch's rag. He also owns the Fox TV channels (most notably Fox News)."
Is there a point to the comment?
Or is this another "drive by" posting designed to cast some kind of shadow on Fox News and all other "rags" that Murdoch owns as somehow dishonest? As opposed to the upstanding and totally balanced NY Times with 47 front page stories on Abu Ghraib in 53 days using the same photos over 23 times.
No they don't have any agenda at the Times.
A newspaper runs a story on deaths in an area with obscene gun control measures in place. You know, another typical Liberal Democrat controlled metropolitan utopia with disarmed citizens, like my own home town of Chicago - Murder Captiol of the USA years after year. Yeah, we need more gun control here too.
I'm not sure what the owner of the paper has to do with that, other than embarassing the municipal government again by pointing out the obvious.
Do you feel that Murdoch personally has issued marching orders to keep all references to the AWB out of his papers? Good for him if he has, but I doubt it. Doesn't seem to be the micro managing type.
Now if you're looking for interesting conspiracy theories, here's one you'll love.
I must have missed your post on high profile Democrat Representative Danny Davis literally crowning the Rev. Sung Yung Moon and his wife as the emporers of this and future worlds at a Washington DC ceremony last week. (Honest people, I couldn't make stuff this funny up. Davis is now claiming that he had no idea what the event was. He might have figured it out when they handed him a pillow with two bejeweled crowns.
Murdoch and Moon must be evil, they own newspapers. Now if they owned Ketchup factories they'd be allright.
