Washington DC, March 27, 2013: Obama is likely the first president to continue their campaign well into their second term. After winning in 2012, the President never stood down his campaign staff and apparatus, instead he rechartered them as "Organizing for Action" - a non-governmental political action group that will be funded primarily by large, quarterly donations from stout Obama supporters and organizations with concurrent agenda's. OFA's main goal is to counter Conservative PACs and organizations like the NRA which wield significant power. OFA's director has said that the goal of the organization is to make pressure groups that oppose Obama's agenda on any issue spend as much as possible to defeat OFA's constant efforts which are fueled by an 'endless' pool of donations, thus weakening the groups and disillusioning their membership. OFA's first goal is to subdue the gun lobby, namely the NRA, by marshaling every Obama supporter they can to counter the efforts of pro-gun activists and make gun safety the more visible cause.

In order to do this, activists at the state level will push for Colorado style gun legislation, which OFA characterize's as "moderate and palatable to the average American", at the state level throughout the country. This is part of an effort to make magazine limits and universal background checks into a "new normal" for the majority of the American population so that states that refuse to enact them are seen as backwards and subjected to ridicule. The hope is that in order to be competitive even conservative states will eventually enact similar legislation. OFA activists believe that they can convince parents with children to move to "safer" areas of the country, that is, states with tough gun laws, causing an economic drain on "high risk" states - such as Texas and Arizona.

Right then, so how do we counter this?

"Safer" areas, such as Chicago?? HA, that's a good one. Oh, and good luck getting people to flock to those same liberal with crap economies.

Dollar for dollar it will be impossible to beat some these organizations depending on the financial backers. I will guess that Bloomberg, Buffet and Gates are some of the money bosses. Let them waste their money and time.

However, the whole thing is really a mute point when people won't sellout their freedom!

They are going to the state level to spread their propaganda? Surprise surprise. This is a pretty tall order and as far as Obama supporters, that support will wane with time. NRA and gun ownership does nothing but increase it seems. I will keep my eyes open, however.
