Odd Question about dynamite and shotguns

I don't see this working the way intended. I could see this producing a Darwin award though. A powder charge in a shotshell is engineered to push a payload. The payload being an accurate measure of weight and the charge being of a powder with the correct burn rate. For instance light payloads use a fast powder and heavier ones use a slower burning powder. So I think the broomstick or whatever would move out of the barrel fast enough before even a slow burning powder would reach max psi. This would be a bad outcome for whoever is around the gun when it happened.
