Hmmm...
This particular recipe had slipped under my radar and I wonder how many others may have run across a sample of it or whipped up a batch over the past few years.
To wit:
http://www.madogre.com/Interviews/OgresCLP.htm
http://www.madogre.com/Archives/July_11_16_2004.htm
( Composed of Castrol GTX Start Up, B12 ChemTool and kerosene )
Please note that the GTX Start Up component isn't quite as easy to find as it was awhile ago, but I only had to check one additional local auto store before I met with success in securing some 5W.
The conjurer indicates it kicks Ed's Red derrier and looks quite cost effective to boot ( pardon the pun! ).
Reports, anyone?
P.S. I am not a big fan of auto-lubes in the firearm role, but I certainly don't dismiss them out of hand either. I keep a batch of Mobil-1 based lube-soup on hand primarily for dispersal to curious, or in-need friends and at the minimum, will also do the same with this stuff.
