Specifically, is there a trick to putting the hammer strut bridge back in place? While I had it disassembled for cleaning I bumped it enough to allow the hammer spring to be released, it flew across the room along with the HSB. I thankfully found both, but after 30 minutes of trying to put it back together I had only succeeded in launching them twice and once embedding the HSB deeply into my palm. I can get the rest of the trigger pack back together, this is the only part I am having trouble with.

Last time I try to do this, barring breakage of course.

The strut should have a hole in it. Put the spring on and then put a straightened paper clip in the hole to hold it. After it is assembled pull the paper clip wire out.

The paper clip must have a 90 degree bend 3/16" from the tip so it can be removed after installation. Also notice the strut bridge has a "notch" for clearance of the transfer bar that engages the sear unit.
If there's still confusion there are exploded drawings on rimfirecentral.com that may help.....

been there and done that, and let me tell you it is NOT fun. tip? Use a fork to compress the spring while you put the paperclip through the hole.
