of the EoTech holosight is the NV compatable one with AA batteries? (with 1 MOA dot and big circle)

aparantly there are a number of variants even among the model numbers (ie, 552 E or 552 F)

its all very confusing.

The 552 is the Military version that's NV compatible and takes AA batteries.

The revision is simply the generation. Kind of like a 2004 Honda v. a 2005 Honda. Basically the same with minor improvements. Rev F is the current model. Most dealers will only have the F in stock, having sold out of their older E (and previous) models.
