I had my right cataract remove/replace on 03/09 and managed to finally get to the range this morning. I can actually see the bull from the 300yd range! without glasses. Two months ago I couldn't see the target at 25'. It's kind of weird too. I don't need glasses on my right eye, everything is brighter and clearer than I could imagine, but the left eye is still screwed up. It works with my old glasses but everything is darker. I fixed it by removing the glass from my right eye. They're doing the left eye next Wednesday.
I shot my AR10 and managed to hit the bull 10 times with my left eye closed. When I tried with my left eye open I didn't do as well. I've worn tri-focals for nearly forty years, now I don't need them any more.
It ain't cheap but its worth it. :D:what::eek:

I have a few different family members who have had the surgery, and every one of them agrees and says that it was completely worth it. Glad to hear you can enjoy the range again! :)

Fantastic. Congratulations on the 10 bullseyes. That's a great encouragement for an old shooter like me that will require cataract surgery before too long.
