Open carry in Smoky Mountains

I'm going on a hiking trip to the Smoky Mountains this year and will be mostly in NC but on the border with TN also. I have a NC CC permit, but my typical method of carry being appendix probably wont be too comfortable with a pack on. Is open carry legal in national parks? I saw where CC is authorized but open carry isn't addressed.

Both North Carolina and Tennessee are Open Carry states. So you are good to go in Great Smokey NP in both domains.
