Is there a device you can use to make non-quick-detach rings detach quickly, and return to zero when replaced?
What I mean is, let's say I purchase one of these Russian scopes, where the rings are integral to the optic. Is there some kind of throw-lever attachment that I could couple this with, effectively making it a quick-detach optic? I understand this will raise it up some, as all stackable mounting solutions do, but no general-purpose rifle should be without usable iron sights.
Also, I'm looking at the IOR Valada Super M2, which uses a 35mm tube, and I don't know if there are 35mm QD rings available.
This would be for mounting on the M1913-spec base on my DSA FAL scope mount.
