Optilock rings /base and scope help for Tikka T3?

I'm getting a Tikka (by Sako) T3 in 6.5x55mm. Mostly for paper punching and because I just wanted something other than Mil-Sups and AKs...and to complement my Anschutz M-1712

I was looking into scope mounts and the Optilock caught my eye with their Tikka specific bases and spherical inserts in their rings.

Does anyone have any experience with these?
Do the rings still need to be lapped in before the inserts are installed?

I'm looking at Nikon glass for this setup...maybe 4.5-14...but, I'm open to suggestions.

What's the difference between their Monarch and Buckmaster lines?

The Optilock sounds like a Finnish version of the Burris Signature with ball-in-socket plastic ring inserts. No need to lap plastic.

I am not familiar with the details of the Nikon scope lineup. The Monarchs are more expensive but I don't know what you are getting for the money.
