optimal bullet match with 1:9 twist .223 AR bbl (16 in gas piston upper)

sorry if this has been hammered to death. just picked up a 16 inch bushie .223 gas piston AR upper.

my memory is hazy but i think i remember the "sweet spot" with 1:9 twist AR bbl. is 62, 63, 68, and 69 grain bullets.

is this incorrect?

You've pretty well hit it. IIRC, the 1:9 is OK for 55-gr bullets also. Too fast for shorter bullets, not fast enough for 75+-gr.

Length and ogive profile have more to do with accuracy than weight, but you're in the right ballpark. You can hardly go wrong with 69 grain Noslers or Sierra Match Kings.
