my 1x10 twist rifle in 243 hates any pill over 90gr, this leads me to say the 9.25 twist should love anything from 80gr up. I read somewhere (maybe here) that the rifle manufacturers increased twist rate to suit the popular 100gr deer cartridges

22" 9.25:1 twist sounds like a Savage to me. Mine liked Core-locts for factory fodder, but it shot bullets from 55gn Blitzkings up to 105 Vital-shoks extremely well. Load development was almost a waste because it put everything sub-MOA. I'm seriously not exaggerating that. It was probably the most consistently accurate rifle I've ever shot. So much so that I resisted the desire to rebarrel it to something with a little more umph for years, though I did finally make it into a .308 (which also shoots very well, but not quite the same).
