That was a bit of a stinger.
$62 for a lb of powder.

My old 70gr NBT .243 chuck load was great, so lucked into some new bullets last week. Decided to replicate and needed AA 4350.

Had an 8 lb jug purchased on sale before Y2K.
IIRC was 82 bucks or thereabouts.

Used 2/3 way back and being old, dumped it 2 yrs ago.

Start fresh.

They had an 8 lb jug but I only have one kidney 🤣

Id like some 55gr NBT for the 22 250 but all they had was V max.
I have Varget for that one.

Look around on line at say Powder Valley, or Natchez Shooters Supplies. An 8 pounder with HazMat and shipping should be less than buying at the LGS. In the past I always tried to maximize the 45 LB weight with propellant and primers, about 4 times a year. Now it looks like I stop at a grand a pop. The new prices are bad for sure but happy they aren't worse!
