the price of 22lr is a big deal to some of us. i find it the most fun to shoot n
can get great groups with wolf.
yeah, i can get great groups out of my s&w model 15, 38 spc, but only with wadcutters that cost 40 cents/round.

All other things aside, I'm of the opinion that Remington are the worst brand of .22's. Far away more failure to fire than any other manufacturer.
+1
I'd sworn off Remington .22lr ammo pre-panic. I've since tried some Golden Bullet "buckets" and Thunderbolt. Both are better than they were (the Thunderbolts no longer lead my barrel in a few hundred rounds, the GB no long has case failures, but both have a lot of duds -- three hits on different parts of the rim and no fire, and loose bullets that "fold" instead of climbing the feed ramp), but still well below the others.

Many years ago we had a primer shortage. Gun owners started hoarding and paying high prices for primers. It ended like all these marketing "Tricks".
The people who never reloaded the fluid in a Zippo lighter had thousands of over priced caps. These Bargain Geniuses were selling them for nothing at the gun club. The .22 rimfire hoards are going down and the credit card bills are due.:D:p
