Just took my dpms lite to the range today for the first time..... and out of the box the accuracy was very poor, at 50 yards I couldent even hit paper, and at 25 I was just getting the bottom right corner! My groups were good when they did hit, Just need a little more time i guess to correctly sight in, does everyone have the same problems with out of the box accuracy?

If you are getting good a group size, "accuracy" is the wrong word to use in describing your problem.

That your point of impact is not the same as your point of aim is a normal, common thing. The answer, simplest put, is, "Do your sighting-in."

Sounds ok so far. Save some money and ammo and sight

Sounds ok so far. Save some money and ammo and sight it in at 25 yards until you can shoot a small 1-2inch dot target. Then move to 50 and do the same, and then the range you want to zero at. If the barrel is grouping, you have no worries. If it is a scattering, then you have issues and how do you zero that?

hmm... I see, thanks for the help guys! : ) cant wait to put some more time at the range...
