Outdoor shooting ranges in northern illinois?

Hello THR, I am lost in my search for public outdoor ranges near joliet illinois.
I mean I can drive to buffalo shooting park but its a long drive still.
Anywhere closer that I can shoot I am a relatively new shooter but am a safety freak so if anyone wants to let me shoot with them on their land that would be awesome.

The ranch I used to live on has 25, 50 & 100yrd. targets. We still shoot out there on weekends. Trying to put in a 300yrd. target, practicing for long range competitions. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll see if it's alright if you come by. It's in Joliet, so it'll be easy to get to.
