a buddy from high school and i decided to book a duck hunt while we're both back home. neither of us are new to hunting and love duck hunting but decided to try hunting some where we have never done it and do it in a way we have never done..... with a guide

anyone know what the expect from duck hunting near kitty hawk NC?

what are our basic etiquette rules for hunting with a guide? how do tips work?

Of all the time I spent on the Outer Banks (I spent about 2 months a year there pretty much every year as a kid, and now 2-weeks a year as adult), I never thought about hunting there. But you know I do always see plenty of fowl. There are plenty of marshlands around the inlets and soundsides.

I have a friend who lives there year round and he duck hunts about 4-5 days a week during the season. From he's told me, the hunting is great. Lots of action.

As far as the guide goes, it depends on you. I've heard many different opinions on this, but the one thing that seems to run true with all of them is that if the guide does a good job, or you had a pleasurable experience, the tip should directly reflect.
