P238 recoil spring updated?

I own an early Sig P238 and am told that Sig has updated the new ones to a flat spring as opposed to the round spring to early ones shipped with.

Those who have a newer one....can you confirm that? Thanks

I can't confirm that the new 238's come with the new flat recoil spring, as mine came with the round one. Although after contacting SIG arms a couple time over twice having the round spring break, they notified me of the upgrade, and sent me the new flat spring, NC. No futher problems were had after the new spring was instaled. LM

Yes, current production P238's come with the flat recoil spring, and as you found, SIG is replacing the round recoil springs in older pistols.
