I recently convinced my Dad to let me have the old press we used to reload trap shells on when I was a kid (~20 years ago), as he's had it stuffed in the garage rafters for years, and now I'm trying to find parts for it.

We used 7 1/5 shot, Winchester wads, and Fiocchi primers on the thing, and that's all I know (since he still had a couple boxes of wads, primers, and a half bag of shot). It was manufactured by Pacific, out of Lincoln, NE, who knows how long ago. It's still got the slide and bushings in it for that shot and whatever powder charge we used in 2 3/4" shells. I'd like to change them out to load 00 buck, and 6 shot.

I Googled Pacific and found out that Hornady bought them out at some point, but no information on whether Hornady slides or bushings will work in the Pacific presses.

Any information anybody might have on the Pacific line of presses (including directions, I don't remember how to use the thing), and where to find parts, would be appreciated.

Hornady bought rights to the Pacific shotgun reloader. Check out their Model 366 Auto Progressive on www.hornady.com
Call Customer Service at 1-800-338-3220 for info on parts and service availability. Think they will be able to help you get your Pacific shotshell press going again.

Good shooting and be safe.

ps: Actually I think Hornady bought all of Pacific product rights.

What press do you have?
I just gave my nephew my old Pacific DL 155 and I`m sure I can get the operating manual back and scan it for you if yours is the same. The book, I believe, has the old bushing charts for powders/wgt and shot /wgt but I won`t swear to it.

Goto www.ballisticpoducts.com

They will have all the parts and bushings you need. They also sell an adapter that will let you use MEC bushings in the press. You can also use any P/W, Hornady, or RCBS Shot and powder bushings in them.

I don't know what the model number is for the press, the only badging is the "Manufactured by Pacific, Lincoln NE" sticker on the front. I found a picture of the same press in an Ebay listing, but the seller don't know what it is either.

Here's the Ebay listing. Mine has taller tubes for the powder and shot, but otherwise it's identical.

Thanks for the help, guys, I'm going to go poke around some more on Hornady's website (didn't find anything there yet).

Pacific Reloader

My father in law gave me a Pacific Dl155 loader, just email the folks at Hornady, they sent me a users manual and a parts list/bushing list . AFAIK you can get many parts for Pacific from them. Good luck.
