    Packing.org back up and running after getting new hardware, server.

    http://www.handgunlaw.us/ has proven to be a more reliable source, in the past couple of years, since Packing.org has taken a nose dive.

    Do not put any faith in anything you read at packing.org. Use it as a starting reference point only and then go and verify against state law. I've seen way too many comments about Solomon not keeping the site up to date to trust anything I read there.

    It would be a great service to us all if there was a web sight similar to say, Map Quest, where you enter your departing state, enter your arrival state..and have the applicable CCW laws along the way listed in order.

    Far too complicated for the trivial benefit. Just examine your chosen route, note the states you will pass through, and examine each state in turn. :p

    True. However, I just checked the Texas DPS site and it actually offers a service that's pretty close to my original wish.

    I agree that some DD is the obligation of any traveler planning to pack on a trip.
