PDO
Mark Solomon has other things on his plate. PDO is not a priority.
A few weeks ago, Mark asked the PDO users to step up and help with the state database. To the best of my knowledge, a number of people have volunteered, but the database is still seriously outdated.
Could PDO just be down to get the administrators on line to correct the database? Possibly.
The majority of site is dedicated to the guntalk section of the site. However, that section's bandwidth is not used for topics of concealed carry. Instead, the foul mouthed and zero bandits have taken over the talk section after the moderation was 86'd in lieu of the current scoring system.
To be quite honest, there are other webforums of THR's caliber which the gun talk is more civilized and at least Gary Slider's site (
www.Handgunlaw.us) is up to date.
If PDO goes away, I for one won't miss it. If Solomon decides to keep it online, then I would hope that he would change the format to rid it of the trolls permanently.
