It would appear that they're an organization that helps paralyzed vets to compete in various shooting events.

From the site:

PVA National Trapshoot Circuit
OVERVIEW
Welcome to PVA’s National Trapshoot Circuit Page. The PVA National Trapshoot Circuit was created to give individuals with disabilities a chance to participate in the recreational and competitive sport of trapshooting. One of the goals of the Circuit is to enable shooters with disabilities and able-bodied shooters to compete as equals. The Amateur Trapshooting Association's (ATA's) Book of Rules draws no distinction between able-bodied shooters and shooters with disabilities, which allows both to compete as equals. We invite you to browse our pages and join the Circuit.

They had something on this org. this weekend.Bob Stack is a big supporter of these guys.
More power to 'em.

I also have supported the PVA for about 25 years, and would caution: if you get somebody hitting you up for money claiming to be from them, make sure it's the real deal.

PVA was one of the charities in kali where an "agency" set themselves up to solicit funds "on their behalf" and spent every dime on overhead and never gave anything to the charity. PVA never hired them, it was a scam.

AMVETS is another one ,,,BTW

most goes to overhead,,,little to anyone else

:fire:

free advice,,,if ANYONE calls you up asking for donations,,,tell them to send you literature and you will be glad to look it over and consider it

no matter what they say, just keep repeating that

if they say they already sent you information tell them you never received it and to please resend,,,

they will give up shortly because theyre on a time schedule and have to move on.

chances are you will never receive this literature and they are not legitimate

thtas straight from the police dept, legitimate organizations are more than happy to send you literature

same thing with those "great deals on investments" calls

if you do receive literature, research it thoroughly and give it your consideration just like you said,

i would also suggest that if you like to donate, do it within your own town?

just mho of course

otherwise it sounds like a great organization

regards
