Just sold a like new Taurus Tracker .17hmr with the discontinued 8 7/8 barrel to the neighbor Amish kid....we were talking about chickens, when he asked if I had a .22 pistol I wanted to sell? Nope, I have a .17hmr I would part with though. I only had 50 rounds through it, and it was a tack driver for sure. I sat on it for 30 years....time to give that gun some life.....it needs to be used...gave him a great deal with 15 boxes of ammo......I feel good to know the gun will actually be appreciated and used.
I did the deal with his Dad.... they respect the great deal I gave them.

Cool, hopefully he will be able to shoot it enough to become really proficient... then when he grows up maybe he will become another 2nd Amendment supporter for life.

Stay safe.

Jk OP. I didn't know the Amish used guns to tell you the truth. If they did, I always pictured a percussion gun of some sort. Not sure of thier technology rules.

Lots of Amish where I worked in Wisconsin. Friendliest people I've ever met.

Thanks for likes.... here the Amish love their guns. During Deer season they carry really nice guns of many makes and all topped with quality scopes. They work and are involved with all the Country folks, giving them the opportunity to find folks willing to sell a extra weapon or two. This young man was riding a big gray horse that is loaned to him from another guy (not Amish) just to keep the horse rode and exercised. They aren't standing or sitting looking at their phones, like most young nowadays.

They use technology, they just don’t depend/get attached to it. For example; they have phones. But they use it when needed and not for luxury.
