I'm looking for a reciever mount peep sight for a '94 Winchester. Those of you that have rifles with peeps...who makes them...are they still making them...where can I get one? I'll use this gun for hunting so the apperature can't be a "pin point", but maybe an interchangeable would be nice if its available. I see rifles with peeps mounted but not much discussion about the sights themselves. I know they are old tech but I don't really want to put a scope on my rifle...and I don't want to retire it either. Thanks in advance for any help and shared info. I know they're out there, somewhere.
Mark.

Here's the lyman receiver peepsight at midwayusa.com. I've got one on my Marlin 1894, and it's a great addition. Very practical, quick, sturdy, and accurate. I've combined mine with a Williams firesight front fiber optic for quicker pick-up than the standard bead, but the bead worked fine, too.

Model 94 peep sight

Williams also makes some nice ones, and the price on their economy model is not bad.

Lyman and Williams both, if your rifle has the two tapped holes at the upper rear of the left side of the receiver, all you have to do is take out the screws- if they're still there- and use the screws that come with the sight to mount it.

:D Thanks guys. I knew these were around, I just couldn't get a track on 'em! I even had some of Mid Way's catalogues here...but I think my wife brow beat 'em till they crawled into the trash. I'm going to pick up one of these at the first chance. Thanks again.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that; I thought it was noted on the link I supplied. Anyway, great deal. Best thing going in Irons for your carbine.

XO and Wild West both have threaded ghost rings that accept a Williams peep sight.
