Just bought a Buffer from Buffer Technologies and installed it in my HighPower. One side of the buffer is indented on each side as like a cutaway and the other side is flat completely. Can someone tell me which side to install against the dust cover and which side faces the middle of the slide? Directions do not show this. Also even after I seat it, when I remove the slide it is setting where the recoil guide mates to the barrel and the top of the buffer is pushed over the top of the recoil guide pin. Is this the way its suppose to be? Thanks
PS --- I also replaced the recoil spring with a wolf 17 lb. factory standard and it was a bear to get compressed and back in , is this normal? Thanks
