Finally got a M1 garand i have been wanting. great condition stock and barrel. Two little extra surprises also, its glass bedded, and has a match trigger. 900$

Also got a m1 carbine, great condition stock and barrel. 500$

A model 69A winchester .22Lr bolt action with scope. 200$

So how did I do?

I also just wanted to brag cause I wanted both m1 rifles for a long time now. Also is there any way I can run the serial numbers on the m1 rifles and find out some history on them?

Congratulations! I have a CMP M-1 Garand and a 1943 M-1 carbine (Inland). Both are fine pieces of history and still in great shape after 60 years. Both shoot great!
I know you will get many years of pleasure from owning and shooting these masterpieces.
