Went to a gun show yesterday, saw a Saiga 308 for a price I couldn't turn down, so I picked it up. Range results to follow.

My question though, is I also picked up a stripped lower from Superior Arms. I want a basic 20" rifle, and the price was right on the lower ($100). Are they any good? I've not having much luck finding reviews.

Superior arms makes fine lowers. I have 2 of them. One i built into a varminter and the other is awaiting a 16 inch upper. Fit and finish are nice. The one i have on my varminter has held up to a couple seasons of use and plenty of rounds.

Was your Saiga 308 converted? Stock typ? I'll be interested to hear how it turns out for you. good choice!

It wasn't converted, it's the basic synthetic black stock type. 16' BBL and only $400 (everywhere else I looked was at least $100 more). Came in box with two 8 round mags and the little cleaning kit.
