I posted awhile back a note on my trade of a Glock 22 for a S&W model 60-14. At the time I was awaiting some grips to roll in from Altamont. They arrived and I put them on, here are the photos, please excuse my less than Ansel Adams skills.

The black grips are the stock items. I am pleased with the fit of the rosewood Altamont grips, and I really like the looks.

I must say it is nice to carry this little snub. My normal carry package is a Glock 30S, but I find myself throwing this little nipper in my pocket more and more often. I'll put some of my home rolled .357 loads down range tomorrow with the new grips, but I already know there is going to be more recoil transfer compared to the stock grips.

It was not as bad as I thought it might be. I was shooting mid-power .357 loads so maybe with full crank SD .357 loads these wood Altamonts would start to transfer more of a painful experience than the stock rubber grips.
But the big payoff is how nicely the rosewood works with the stainless finish- I think it is just a great looking snub.
The last mod I will make to this 60 is to add some nail polish to the front sight to make it more visible. It is tough to pick up in less than bright conditions.
