I am pretty new to the vintage firearm collecting bit, and I'm not sure if I have a pitted barrel or not. It certainly shows some wear, but I'm not sure it qualifies as pitted as the lands and grooves remain quite sharp.

Also, what kind of accuracy should I expect to see out of this barrel (k98).

I have a Marlin 336 30-30 that has a pretty rough looking barrel, I checked it with a bore scope and probably have the cleanest bore in the state (trying to get it cleaned out well) and it still shoots 3/4-1.5" at 100 yards with 3 shots. Don't ask me how or why but it still shoots really really well.
