Sorry to hit you guys with another product question, but I heard about an interesting item that is sort of like an extensible "plunger" that you put on the muzzle of your longarms so that they sort of stand up inside of a gun safe, rather than laying on a rack around the periphery. In effect, this increases available storage space.
Does anyone know what this product is called and/or where I can find it?

Thanks...

You can also use wooden dowel rods down the barrel as well. My local gun shop does that with rifles that are too short to fit their rack.

I've used the rifle rods from storemoreguns.com. They work well, but with one exception.

The adhesive that holds the little velcro pads onto the end of the rod doesn't always hold up. I've had to reglue quite a number of the pads onto the rods.

The product works as designed, though, otherwise. Heck, I wish I thought of it. LOL
