Please help a dummy with a Lee Auto Prime Hand Priming Tool

Hello All,

I am currently (until about an hour ago) using a Lee Auto Prime Hand Priming Tool. It has primed thousands of cases and worked great. I had it upside down with a fresh tray of primers when the elevator pin dropped out. I am not talking about the seating pin but the first one that brings a primer up to the slot that takes it into the shell holder.

Trying to figure out what is going on I removed the shell holder and the small parts in the unit fell out. When I have taken this out in the past it normaly comes out as one unit.


The instructions don't come with anything useful. Thanks for the help!

I have a couple of the older ones. These look like the insides are quite a bit different. I would email or call Lee and they will guide you with the reassembly. Might even find someone on youtube that shows how to do it. Might even have a broken part there to deal with. This was my first thought as things are not supposed to fall out of them especially after working well for a good long while.

you should have two trays one for large and one for small. look at the other one to see how it is assembled.
