Any LCR owners pocket carry? How is the 'print'? Small enough to remain unnoticeable to the casual observer? What holster [if any] do you use?

Thanks for the advice - wondering if I can get away with dusting my current mouse gun, but probably need to sell it prior to purchasing the LCR.

My LCR fits nicely into most of my pockets using an Uncle Mikes (I think it's a size 3). It doesn't fit into tighter pants however.

I've pocket carried similarly sized revolvers. I consider a pocket holster a necessity; my favorite thus far is the Mika. Choose your pants and pockets carefully and buy new ones (or have them altered) if necessary. Any small-frame revolver is going to be tight in jeans pockets, but will carry unobtrusively (i.e., minimal bulging) in larger pockets. Remember that you need room to get your fingers around the grip on the first try.

I pocket just fine, my P11 or my Taurus 85SSUL for instance. It is MHO that printing in a pocket isn't a big deal, anyway. 99 percent of the public never notices such things. And, if the holster has a pocket book profile, why would it matter? I've never been "made" while carrying this way and I've had a CHL for 14 years, now. I'm not sure how your law reads, but in Texas, so long as the gun doesn't show, you're golden. :D

As little problems as I have with my P11, a LCR would disappear in the same pocket as does my Taurus 85. The gun gives less "gun profile" than does an auto and it's very hard to tell what it is in a pocket. Autos are squarish and demand a good holster to hide their profile.

Thank you for your opinions

Sounds like it won't be a problem with the trousers I normally wear. Thanks for your holster picks as well - always seeking new options.

I have used a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster for my J frames for a couple of years now. If I had the cash to buy an LCR I would use the same holster for that.

Cheap and effective to use for a concealed pocket carry. It Keeps the gun upright, and clear of pocket crap.

I have the same set-up as V1ROT8, the RKBA for both the LCR and LCP, with the same results. Have a Desantis Nemesis as a second choice. Just depends on how much room there is in the pocket.

As a side note, I contacted Houge Grips a few months ago inquiring about a smaller grip for the LCR. Said one was "in the works" and would be available through the Ruger website, but nothing as of yet.

Ditto on the Nemesis carry. I carry daily, jeans, dress pants. Print is minimal. My primary daily carry with one stripper of extra ammo and Im ready for the imbeciles that inhabit my city...lol!

+1 for the Desantis Nemesis.

The combo only prints if I'm wearing a tighter fitting pair of pants, otherwise I don't think it's an issue.

The grips are a bit tacky but seem to get less sticky as time (and use) goes by.

We have had good luck with the Uncle Mike's pocket holsters. They work well for small revolvers and the price is great. Wear somewhat looser fitting pants for pocket carry; tight jeans will show more of a lump. Try this cheap pocket holster to see if pocket carry works for you.
